Mobility-Enhanced Simultaneous Lightwave Information and Power Transfer

Simultaneous lightwave information and power transfer (SLIPT) has been regarded as a promising technology to deal with the ever-growing energy consumption data-rate demands in Internet of Things. We propose resonant beam based SLIPT (RB-SLIPT) system, which deals conflict high deliverable mobile receiver positioning existing schemes. At first, we establish transmission channel model depict distribution channel. Then, present practical design evaluate energy/data performance within moving range RB-SLIPT. Numerical evaluation demonstrates that RB-SLIPT can deliver more than 4W charging enable 3Gb/s achievable data rate 20° field view (FOV) over 3m distance. Thus, simultaneous scenarios without tracking control.
